Our Acoustic Engineer

Glen Thurecht is a qualified engineer (Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia) as well as an acoustical consultant with over 25 years experience. He has extensive experience in both environmental acoustics and interior acoustics. Projects he has undertaken range from small consultancy contracts to complete turnkey systems contracts worth over $2,200,000. 

With specialities in acoustics, electroacoustics, noise masking, control systems and induction loop systems for the hearing impaired, providing a wide scope of expertise in both the acoustic and electroacoustic fields. Glen also has predictive software for the design of internal and external noise control.

Glen has extensive experience in ACT and NSW noise legislation and the production of Noise Management Plans and Environmental Assessments (noise). Glen has been used as an expert witness in a number of ACT and NSW court cases.
